Our Sustainability

We  have  a green purchasing  supply policy  for all our office needs, printing  (FSC paper where possible ) and  materials  we  use. We  support fair trade products  for catering  and  we support local businesses  where  possible.

We use renewable electricity and have  an active  waste recycling system  in our offices. We try where possible to use venues and accommodations with Green Polices and eco labels

We  support and advise in a voluntary capacity  at the Leitrim Sculpture Centre  (where we are based ) and where possible on any funding , marketing and opportunities available to the organisation.

We serve in voluntary capacity on board of The Glens  Theatre  Manorhamilton,  Co Leitrim

We try to deliver training  in a pre-arranged timetable to reduce  unnecessary travel, if possible we present by Skype for conferences .

We support the work of the Irish Peatland Conservation Council
(Save The Bogs Campaign)  www.ipcc.ie and give annual donation and  save our stamps for their fundraising activities.

We are a member of the Northern Ireland Environment Link   www.nienvironmentlink.org

On average,  one day a month is spend in advising, for no charge,  a small business who is trying to develop  Ecotourism and provide   strategic support where none exists at ground level through any agencies.

Where possible, we feed into any relevant policy consultations that are promoting sustainability at all levels in Irish Tourism.
